Smålands folkmusikläger
For children 9 to 15 years old. This course is taught in Swedish only and is for you who have been playing your instrument for a minimum of two years.
Barnens egen Korrökurs
For children 8 to 12 years old.
For beginners wanting to try out different instruments. For those who already play an instrument, and are curious about Swedish traditional music. For those who like arts and crafts, singing and dancing. All of you are very welcome to join Barnens egen Korrökurs! During the course you will get to try out different instruments, learn new tunes and songs by ear (without sheet music), meet new friends, play, dance and do some handicrafts. The course is led by experienced teachers and folk musicians. Join this exciting prelude to Barnens egen Korröfestival!
Korröfestivalens ungdomsläger
For youth 15 to 25 years. Welcome to a week full of tunes, inspiration and groove in this course leading up to one of Sweden’s best festivals – Korrö folk music festival! All instruments are welcome. The course is organised in collaboration with Skurups folkhögskola, who are providing teachers with multiple years of experience in folk music. The participants will perform as a group in a short pop-up concert together with some of the other Korrö courses and play in a live dance session at the end of the week.
